Apple to expand in Austin

Student athletes will get extra security at UT

The University of Texas at Austin will provide its student athletes with smartphone app-enabled personal security services through an agreement with with Denver-based startup MyForce. Through the app, users who feel threatened can hail a service agent at MyForce who can listen in on the situation, locate the user and then take actions such as calling local police or emergency responders. Austin & Dublin team up

Capital Factory and Dublin-based incubator Gravity will partner to provide reciprocal services. StartupRunner Capital Venture Fund raises $20M

Austin-based StartupRunner Capital Venture Fund plans to raise a $20 million fund.
