1. Co-Founders February Pitches featuring keynote speaker Jason Seats, partner at Techstars, February 8 at 6:30 p.m.
Jason Seats was most recently the Managing Director of the Techstars Cloud program. Prior to joining Techstars, Jason was a founder of Slicehost, an early cloud computing hosting company. In 2008 Slicehost was acquired by Rackspace.
2. Galvanize presents coding bootcamp Q&A at Google Fiber, February 10 at 6 p.m.
Can you really get a job right out of a coding bootcamp? Will you even like coding? Can’t you just teach yourself online for free? No doubt these are many of the questions that are running through your mind if you’re thinking about switching careers to become a software developer. During this info/Q&A session we’ll answer any questions you have about making the leap and attending a coding school. We’ll provide light refreshments.
3. Dating + Tech: More than Modern Romance, February 10 at 6:30 p.m.
It’s complicated. When you marry dating and tech, you’ll get more than a tale of modern romance. Join General Assembly and CultureMap Austin for a Valentine’s themed panel event and an uncensored discussion on the impact of dating and tech from a personal, sociological, and business standpoint.
4. LegalZoom Customer Care Career Fair, February 11 at 6 p.m.
