What they do: Praecipio Consulting is an Atlassian Platinum Enterprise expert company that delivers client-tailored tech solutions to companies. Essentially, Praecipio helps clients work better and faster with the tools of the Atlassian suite by handling implementations, optimizations, managed services and hosting, custom development and training.

Clients include Box, Etsy, Facebook, K-Swiss, The Men’s Wearhouse, NASA, Palantir, Paramount Pictures, Random House, Toyota, TripAdvisor Twitter, Yelp, Zillow and more.

Software Architect Alex Wolfe said the company’s team dynamic is genuinely supportive, without structure that feels formal or forced. “We fly all the remote employees in every quarter for a meetup in a big rented house on Lake Austin and go over the open book of company financials. We show full company history and the revenue and all that stuff to all employees as a matter of course.”
What they’re looking for: The ability to build, leverage and sustain relationships with clients and co-workers and the technical aptitude to explain products and be aware of ongoing improvements.
What they do: Civitas Learning helps teachers and school administrators improve academic and financial outcomes. The company partners with leading institutions to create what it describes as the world’s first organizing layer for higher education data, and translates it into recommendations that are delivered through its SaaS products.
