Most people think about football season or the return of school when they're saying goodbye to summer. Here at Built In Austin, we welcome the fall with Austin's Startup Week — a full week in October dedicated to celebrating the local startup movement and networking your face off.

We'll be hosting an event on Oct. 3 [think career fair but way more Austiny and food from Foodee] to kick the week off at one of the coolest music venues in town, The Mohawk. Attendees will get the chance to meet area companies, see what they're hiring for, collect some swag and enjoy food and drinks followed by a Battle of the Bands immediately after.
