NarrativeDx raises $3.6M

Austin health tech startup NarrativeDx completed a $3.6 million Series A led by local VC LiveOak Venture Partners. Cultivation Capital and HealthX Venture also participated in the round, which marks NarrativeDx's second amount raised since July 2015. The company develops AI-driven automated technology for analyzing and understanding patient feedback. "Our partners have been eager to leverage our technology to better understand their patients’ experiences," said Kyle Robertson, founder and CEO, in a statement. "The demand we are seeing is phenomenal, and we are on track to increase our client base 10x in 2017." [Press Release]

 

Cerebri AI adds $1.8M

Cerebri AI, the Austin startup developing AI solutions that help companies understand their clients' shopping patterns, raised an additional $1.8 million this week from 34 investors. The company did not issue a statement regarding the funding news. [Form Ds]

 

CesiumAstro raises $1.75M

CesiumAstro raised $1.75 million from three investors on Thursday. Not much is available regarding the early stage startup. From a dated job post, the company states that it is developing next generation communication electronics for spacecraft and UAVs. Meta SaaS raises $1.5M from team of Austin entrepreneurs & Mark Cuban

On Wednesday, Austin startup Meta SaaS announced the completion of a seed round of funding for $1.5 million led by a team of local investors that included Brett Hurt, Scott Francis, Steve Schaffer, Capital Factory and celebrity entrepreneur Mark Cuban. The Meta SaaS platform identifies wasted software licenses for companies and alerts clients when a license has gone unused, is duplicated or is about to be up for renewal. [Press Release]

 

2 legal tech startups partner to offer online payment option

Austin startup JustLegal announced this week that it has partnered with LawPay to add secure online payment services to its platform, which connects attorneys and clients to schedule appointments. By combining this technology, attorneys will be able to share calendar availability, schedule consultations and collect payment over a secure network, without concerns related to commingling earned and unearned fees. Hangar and HPI partner to offer 360-degree aerial imagery 

The local commercial real estate firm, HPI Real Estate Services and Investments, announced this week that they partnered with Austin-based drone data capturing startup Hangar. Hangar's aerial content will allow individuals to interact with 360-degree imagery for each of HPI’s properties, all housed within an interactive map showcasing their entire portfolio.
