Tech and Transportation, June 20 at 6:30 p.m.

General Assembly has joined forces with the Austin Tech Alliance to host civic leaders working to use technology to address Austin’s evolution of transportation. At this exclusive keynote and panel event, they’ll host thought leaders from the City of Austin and the transportation industry to explore new intersections between their fields and technology. Rob Spillar, Director of Austin Transportation Department, will deliver the keynote.

Hiker Social at Radio for Hike with a Geek Day, June 20 at 8:30 p.m.

Join Hiking with Geeks this Tuesday at Radio Coffee and Beer for a social event. Come talk, hang out, meet new people and reconnect with people you've met on the trail. If you've never been there, Radio Coffee and Beer has one of the best taco trucks in town and an awesome selection of beer, wine, coffee and tea. Guests are welcome.

Writing @Rackspace (Intermediate): Python and Data Science, June 21 at 6:30 p.m.

Women Who Code Austin will meet at Rackspace this Wednesday for an evening of writing Python and exploring data science. This session will focus on machine learning principles and is intended for all women (trans and cis), trans men and genderqueer folks who are interested in attending. Men are welcome as guests of members.

Built In Brews at Amherst InsightLabs, June 22 at 6 p.m.

Amherst InsightLabs welcomes you to their new office space to unwind and network after work. Come meet new people, enjoy craft beers, and get the latest from the Amherst team. Built In Austin's Built In Brews is a monthly startup happy hour hosted by a different high growth tech company in Austin. Learn about the Amherst’s culture, meet the founders and employees and enjoy drinks from some of the best local breweries.

Bossed Up Bootcamp (Partner Event), June 24 at 9 a.m.

Dev Bootcamp will host Austin’s Bossed Up Org Bootcamp this Saturday for women who would love some help navigating the career transition. Surround yourself with ambitious women who are striving for sustainable success, learn about negotiation tactics, effective communication measures, get a professional headshot taken and get clarity on your career path.
