To uncover new outdoor activities within Austin, refer to Blipic. The app helps users connect with and join local outdoor groups while providing a social platform to share those experiences. Additionally, Blipic offers a corporate wellness program that encourages employees to maintain healthy, active and outdoor lifestyles.

In Texas alone, there are 54 state parks. A majority of these include campsites. It’s little wonder there are so many, as Texas is the second largest state in the U.S. by size alone. Austin startup Roverpass is making it easier for campers to locate and reserve campgrounds and RV parks not just in Texas, but all over the country. The site lets users see photos, prices, availability and reviews to ensure the best decision is made to feed your wanderlust.

Launched in 2011, Wide Open Spaces provides outdoor lovers with daily content on hunting, fishing, shooting, camping and all things outside. Owned by Wide Open Media Group, Wide Open Spaces is one of five media networks alongside Wide Open Country, Wide Open Pets, Wide Open Roads and Wide Open Eats.
