What are we looking for?

We are looking for a highly motivated Account Development Representative to generate new business opportunities and drive sales opportunities with top 100 companies in the food manufacturing and processing industry. Joining a high-performing B2B sales team, you’ll be responsible for securing interest with leadership roles to build our pipeline and generate long-term revenue.

What you’ll do:

  • Develop and execute prospecting strategy for assigned territories in collaboration with sales and marketing directors
  • Deliver high-volume prospecting (over 100 activities per day) though cold calls, emails, and social media
  • Ensure timely and well-documented follow-up to marketing qualified leads
  • Identify and qualify prospects based on size of company, industry, stage in funnel, and role of engaged contacts 
  • Schedule high-quality discovery meetings for sales managers, with clearly set goals and objectives
  • Provide administrative assistance to sales managers in regard to prospect correspondence, travel schedules, reporting, and other related requests
  • Participate in regularly scheduled sales calls
  • Periodic travel to trade shows and potential client meetings

What you bring to the table:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, or relevant field
  • 3-5 years of proven experience in a B2B, high-tech sales role
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Experience with CRM software
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics
  • Prior track record of achievement in positions with significant accountability
  • Proven ability to easily adopt new business tools
  • Proficiency with MS Office products with limited assistance and direction (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, and presentation skills, including the ability to adapt style to varied audiences
  • A strong entrepreneurial and competitive spirit with a demonstrated high level of positive energy, drive, enthusiasm, initiative, and commitment
