Resignation Media is seeking an Affiliate Manger to assist in the placement of all e-commerce product offerings on theCHIVE.com and theBERRY.com. This person is a self-starter that is excited to inherit an existing structure and perfect it as they make it their own.

Prior experience managing affiliate relationships or e-commerce/editorial executions is preferred. This is a chance to own the success of a channel that allows our users to buy the best products on the web. A positive attitude and a passion for helping coordinate internal demands will go a long way in determining the best fit for the job. This position is based in Austin, Texas at Resignation Media’s global HQ.

Job Description:

Optimize the system by which we operate, own it, and make it better. We want a creative, diligent mind to take us to the next level.

Onboard, analyze, and maintain affiliate links and vendors for inclusion within theCHIVE.com galleries. This includes negotiating with 3rd parties and maintaining a real-time product list for the editorial staff.

Identify affiliate products with high velocity and sales for potential inclusion in an ever-expanding suite of e-commerce offerings, specifically for The Chivery, William Murray Golf, and Buy Me Brunch.

Report regularly on product margins, sales, inclusion rates, and overall editorial trends relating to promotion of e-commerce products on site and the monetization of all products featured.

Produce and/or repurpose content, both galleries and video, promoting e-commerce goods both for internal editors as well as on behalf of potential advertisers.

Be the internal point person for communication between The Chivery/Buy Me Brunch/William Murray Golf and the editorial staff for product inclusions and featured links.

Own the distribution of The Chivery/Buy Me Brunch affiliate links to other 3rd party sites making as well as product placement on other websites.

Work hand in hand with ad sales staff to generate copy, materials, and drafts for featured posts and inclusions on behalf of an e-commerce advertiser.

Understand how to leverage deep linking and feature products on Instagram, Snapchat, and whatever else the kids are into these days.

Requirements:

A great communicator and coordinator.

Ability to juggle several initiatives at once and deliver.

Critical thinker who reports on identified metrics.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
