The Sales Engineering team at Condé Nast works with our sales team to deliver unique and engaging experiences for our users and partners. We need someone like you, a strong technical leader to design systems around revenue generating code.You and your team will work across the iconic brands that make up Condé Nast such as WIRED, The New Yorker, Vanity Fair, and Teen Vogue. 

You'll be responsible for setting the tone for technical excellence in a fast-paced environment. You'll work with your team and the architecture group within Condé Nast to ensure your team is on track and work from you and your peers is having an impact on the rest of the engineering team.

What are we looking for from you?
• You have an expert-level fluency in at least one programming language.
• You're excited about the future of JavaScript and already are or are looking to become an expert in it.
• You value structured systems and clean APIs.
• You have mastered toolsets and frameworks, and also understand their abstractions and fundamental constructs.
• You know how to design and build software with empathy.
• You consider the performance of every decision you make and know how to back up those decisions with data.
• You think of the job of an architect as a communicator and take pride in your ability to communicate with other engineers and non-engineers alike.
• You enjoy teaching and mentoring other developers.
• You're involved in the open source community or are eager to join.
• You aren’t afraid to experiment with new technologies and ideas.
• You have no problem turning a design into a functional interface from scratch.
• You pay attention to quality and are detail- oriented.
