AppSumo is a deal site for entrepreneurs. Reaching over 1 million customers yearly, we've promoted some the coolest companies on the internet like Evernote, Dropbox, Mailchimp and more and are always on the hunt for the next big thing.

Our company is highly profitable and growing fast.

Our newest venture, Sumo Affiliates, is primed to become a 7-figure channel. Our affiliate channel has already proven itself, bringing in valuable revenue per deal. Now we just need to formalize and scale it to new heights. This is where you come in.

This role will focus on finding the most influential people on the web, building relationships with them, and then writing them fat checks for promoting AppSumo deals. You’ll be working directly with our Head of Operations to grow our affiliate network to a world-class level.

This is first and foremost about building and managing relationships with some of the most influential people online. So a background in journalism with PR/ marketing chops is preferred.

About you: 

• You have a savage work ethic 

• You write irresistible cold emails 

• You are organized. 

• You probably were an athlete or do some regular physical activity. ie. You are disciplined 

• You are independent and want to be a part of a hyper-growth company 

• You love finding ways to reduce friction for our affiliates and make it as easy and fun as possible for them to share our deals 

• You like the idea of writing big checks to your business heroes

Minimum Qualifications: 

• Metrics driven - you can look at our data and make decisions to move the program forward 

• Deep knowledge of the entrepreneurial software space so you can identify potential affiliates to reach out to 

• People like you. You’re warm and charismatic. 

• You enjoy learning new systems/programs on the fly 

• Persistence and dogged determination are important character traits to you
