We are looking for a Business Development Associate who is well-versed in the marketing/marketing technology industry to target marketing agencies and cultivate lucrative, long lasting partnerships with OutboundEngine. The successful candidate will be an experienced partner sales professional with a successful track record of building partnerships, exceeding sales quotas, managing relationships and expanding opportunities with partners.

What you will do:

  • Relentlessly drive and develop new revenue-generating partnerships with mid-sized marketing agencies and consultancies, driving growth for one of the company’s most promising new revenue channels
  • Own the entire relationship, from prospecting, to initial contact (cold calling), to closing, to post-sale support
  • Create immediate rapport with new clients, establish credibility and demonstrate expertise on the value of OE’s services.
  • Deliver superior customer and partner service, which advances our partners business achievements
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues in marketing, product management, and operations to create client’s product and quickly resolve any client, ensuring a positive long lasting partnership.

What you bring to the table:

  • A minimum of 3 years of business development or sales
  • Native fluency in the language of marketing
  • A history of successfully selling to or partnering with marketers and exceeding quota
  • Demonstrable track record of directly increasing revenue within partnerships
  • A creative selling mindset and ability to find new and interesting ways to engage the potential client
  • Ability to easily shift between different business functions, must be able to quickly switch between wearing sales, services and marketing hats
  • A history of building strong relationships with prospective and current partners and exceeding sales goals
  • Superb communication skills, both written and verbal
