Business Development Associate
Golden Frog is looking to have a highly motivated, Business Development Associate join the sales team. The ideal candidate will have a good foundation in sales and is excited to bring on new business to Golden Frog. You will play a pivotal role in helping us achieve our business goals and continue to move our company forward.
To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will nurture relationships, build value, handle objections, create urgency, and collaborate strategically with sales leadership to close new business opportunities. It’s a small team and as a result your work will have direct impact on growth.
Responsibilities:
• Drive revenue by acquiring new customers.
• Primary focus will be building a Sales Channel for products sold to small, medium, and even large enterprise companies, including cloud-based and appliance based services.
• Make outbound calls to small and medium-sized businesses.
• Set and run online product demonstrations.
• Use sales strategies to close deals.
• Prospecting to find new potential clients, identify clients’ needs and propose effective sales strategies via phone, email, LinkedIn, and other creative avenues.
• Work closely with the executive team and sales management to ensure clear visibility into the direction and status of Sales Funnel.
Requirements:
•3-4 years mix of sales attainment focusing on enterprise-facing products/services, specifically Cloud/SaaS/hardware appliances technologies or offerings.
• 3-4 years of Channel sales experience, business/partner development experience, preferred.
• Comfortable with prospecting and cold calling, closing sales over the phone and through email.
• Enterprise Account Management experience: establishing, building and maintaining relationships.
• Ability to effectively communicate ideas with diverse technical and non-technical groups, spanning all organizational levels (including sales, marketing, engineering, and development).
• Knowledge of network communication concepts.
• Must be proficient at conducting needs analysis.
• BA/BS or equivalent work experience.
• Knowledge of Salesforce.com.
• Strong sense of accountability and ownership.
• Previous experience at a startup, software, or tech company preferred.
• Passion for security and privacy on the Internet.
