TrustRadius (www.trustradius.com) is changing how business software is bought and sold and we’re looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated and sales-minded Business Development Representative to join our thriving team. In this position you’ll be tasked to prospect and qualify leads through outbound calling, emails, and personal research.
 

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Set qualified discovery call meetings between prospective clients and our account executives

  • Hit/exceed monthly quota as described in compensation plan

  • Partner with account executives to build territory pipeline and ensure that the opportunities are moving forward

  • Research targeted accounts to identify key players and generate interest in TrustRadius offerings

  • Prospect new accounts that fit the profile or are competitors to existing accounts, then generate interest in TrustRadius offerings

  • Qualify inbound leads in timely manner and provide lead quality feedback loop to marketing

  • Input and track all activity in Salesforce.com

Ideal Experience:

  • 1-3 years experience in a sales or cold-calling phone sales capacity preferred. Prior software experience a plus

  • Hunter mentality in seeking new business

  • Successful track record of sustained achievement of targets in a sales role or in college

  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and be highly self-motivated

  • Experience working within a team atmosphere

  • Excellent negotiation skills both internally and externally

  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

  • A genuine desire to learn sales and a strong drive to develop a promising career

  • Salesforce.com experience a plus

  • Bachelor's degree preferred

  • Genuine interest in working for a start up

We are a fully remote company with plans to open a beautiful office in the Austin, TX Hill Country area early 2022. Future work opportunities will include everything from 100% remote to 100% on-site and everything hybrid in between.
