Business Development Specialist

We are the creators of Efforts to Outcomes (ETO®) software, equipping over 16,000 programs with web-based data-tracking and outcomes-oriented case management tools to improve results, simplify reporting requirements and improving efficiencies in delivering services across agencies and funding streams. Unlike traditional CRM and Case Management tools, ETO software was designed to help agencies improve outcomes by identifying and scaling effective programs. The ETO platform is flexible enough to be uniquely configured based on service population and evidence-based practices models, without the need for custom development to make changes to the software as your organization continues to evolve.
Who you are: An ambitious Business Development Specialists who will work closely with both potential clients and our sales executives to increase ETO’s footprint. Sitting at the forefront of the entire sales strategy Business Development Specialists will help shape and drive our sales strategy through various tasks. This position is ideal for a recent college graduate who is interested in gaining hands on business experience while working with organizations who are on the front lines of changing the world.
Tasks:
- Sales Pipeline Development through warm calling and emailing prospects
- Respond to inbound leads from nonprofits and agencies as assigned
- Research, develop and execute targeted marketing campaigns to specific public sector verticals
- Develop strong analytical skills to uncover and refine new markets
- Manage targeted marketing campaigns to ensure pipeline growth and sales team goals
- Assist in the creation of prospect facing materials to support outreach campaigns and sales process
- Generate leads and schedule sales calls for public sector sales representatives.
- Attend conferences and other events to generate sales leads
- Work closely with sales executives to achieve team sales goals
Skills & Requirements
The position will be located in our Austin office.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Demonstrated 1-2 years of human services or social services experience preferred (volunteer and internship experience applicable)
- Ability to work successfully in a team environment
- Exceptional written and verbal communication
- Demonstrated history of goal achievement
- Background and/or interest in all of or some of the following: politics, public policy, economics, public administration, social work, sociology, other relevant human or social services experiences.
- Ability to present in a professional manner
- The ideal candidate will have a mix of sales/business administration experience and a passion for improving the world.
