Who You Are:

Social Solutions is seeking a smart and motivated Business Intelligence Analyst who’s eager to learn and to make the world a better place. The ideal candidate is comfortable creating and maintaining universes within SAP BusinessObjects as well as working within a large and complex SQL Query Codebase. This person will also be a Professional Services expert, and gets satisfaction from knowing they did things the right way, even if it’s a harder way. The ability to work quickly in a fast-paced environment, and a passion for exceeding user’s expectations is a must!

Job Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating with lead BI developer to create and maintain SAP Business Object Universes and Web intelligence reports.
  • In conjunction with the Sr. DBA, analyze and optimize SQL generated by business objects queries and take action when appropriate.
  • In conjunction with lead systems engineer, deploy changes to our multiple clustered environments.
  • Perform data migrations of end customer data into the company’s software package (ETO.)
  • Complete Report Optimization and Development leveraging the company’s Reporting Platform.
  • Utilize expert troubleshooting and debugging skills.
 Skills & Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Computer Science preferred, Computer Programming experience, or related discipline.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written communication skills, including documentation.
  • Ability to work independently.

Technical Expertise

  • At least 1-2 years of hands-on experience with SAP BusinessObjects
  • Minimum 1-2 years of hands-on experience with SQL Queries & Database Objects using MSSQL 2014 or MySQL, including stored procedures, views, and triggers.
  • Deep Transact Sql (T-Sql) expertise a plus.
  • Understanding of networking essentials to design and implement physically distributed enterprise applications (application components in multiple data centers.
