Your Mission

We’re looking for someone who can help ecommerce agencies and merchants grow their business with Shopgate. As a key member of the marketing and partner program team, you will collaborate to build a world-class partner ecosystem for Shopgate. You will be critical in supporting our partners — they are an integral part of Shopgate’s growth.

You will be responsible for developing new partner relationships while maintaining and expanding existing partnerships. You will work to identify high potential leads and nurture those leads into becoming active partners in our ecosystem.

The ideal candidate must have experience in creating and executing B2B technology partner-focused marketing programs and content, to support achievement of corporate revenues objectives and developed a strong ecosystem community.

What You'll Do on a Daily Basis

  • Pipeline management and Quota attainment
  • Identify and recruit new qualified partners
  • Ensure a clear GTM strategy is set with the partner early in engagement lifecycle
  • Develop and execute sales enablement/training plan for partners
  • Collaborating with Shopgate sales and technical teams to close business
  • Build and maintain relationships with partner sales teams and sales executives to keep Shopgate top of mind

The Right Fit

  • The role is designed for a candidate who has channel experience within a B2B software company, preferably within the ecommerce space.
  • 3+ years direct and indirect selling experience in high tech environment, preferably from a managed services provider.
  • An Entrepreneurial spirit; enjoys an autonomous work environment and taking charge of his/her business
  • A track record of exceeding direct and indirect sales quota; managing strategic partnerships; cultivating new territories and partnerships
  • Flexible and adaptable with the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to execute successful projects with minimal guidance in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational, program management skills with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple projects and requests
  • Experience in engaging and building win-win relationships with partners is a must
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, communication studies, business administration or related field; MBA is a plus.
