This specific role is a unique opportunity to leverage your exceptional interpersonal skills and extensive experience as a clinical research coordinator, while avoiding the demands of study conduction. This role supports the company’s mission of enabling physicians access to cutting edge treatment options for patients with chronic diseases. In this capacity, you will act as a patient concierge for pre-screened individuals who are likely unfamiliar with clinical research and are pursuing an alternative treatment opportunity.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Reviews qualifications of pre-screened patients in context of protocol requirements and seeks clarifications as needed
  • Calls pre-screened patients to collect and provide information about the clinical trial that their physician has referred them to
  • Conducts virtual electronic Informed Consent sessions for selected patients
  • Coordinates with trial site staff to schedule initial appointment for patients
  • Maintains accuracy of patient statuses in the ePatientFinder database
  • Communicates patient and trial site updates to operations staff

 

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of clinical research experience (Phases II and III preferred)
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Works independently
  • An undergraduate degree (preferably in Life Sciences) from an accredited institution
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications
  • Fluent in English (Spanish is a plus)

  • Resilient - we need to follow up with trial sites and referring clinics who are occasionally unresponsive
  • Persuasive - you are going to be working with external stakeholders who need to understand the value of working with ePatientFinder
  • Charismatic - the patients, referring clinic and trial site staff, including physicians, need to like you
  • Driven/Motivated to excel - we are all very hard working and ambitious people, we want to work with others who have the same values
  • Quick learner - you need to pick up information about new treatments
