Contracts Administrator
BigCommerce, named a "Best Place to Work" in Austin, TX in 2017, is looking for a Contracts Administrator for our Austin Four Points office. This role is responsible for assisting the Director of Professional Services in managing all aspects of the retention of Enterprise contracts including, but not limited to, examination and analysis of Enterprise contract documents, evaluation of the financial implications of the proposed Enterprise contract, often requiring coordination of multiple agreements and coordination with multiple parties.
What You Will Do
- Responsible for the administration, oversight and audit of all professional services and Enterprise contracts.
- Maintain professional services and Enterprise contractual records and documentation such as receipt and control of all correspondence, contact information sheets, change orders, status reports and other documents for all projects.
- Track and report on adherence in accordance with Enterprise contract requirements, track all professional services and Enterprise contract details and alert department/management on terms and conditions risks and offer resolutions.
- Provide support to accounting in reviewing invoices against Enterprise contract scope and requirements.
- Ensure that signed professional services and Enterprise contracts are communicated to all relevant parties to provide contract visibility and awareness, interpretation to support implementation.
- Serve as the point of contact for professional services and Enterprise contractual matters. Act as contractual liaison between Professional Services, Accounting and Sales, ensuring timely review and approval /reconciliation of variations.
- Work with internal cross functional teams and closely with legal and compliance to monitor professional services and Enterprise terms and conditions, practices and requirements.
- Active participation in document control systems and maintenance.
- Maintain historical files and administer the archival process.
- Proactively communicate upcoming contract renewals Draft and negotiate renewals for the Enterprise Account Management team.
- Conduct a monthly audit on manual payments by all client (30/60/90 time frames).
- Work with the accounting department to ensure that all payments match contractual agreement.
Who You Are
- 2+ Years experience in billing or accounting roles
- 2+ Years eCommerce Experience preferred
- 1+ Years experience in Account Management preferred
- Advanced Knowledge of BigCommerce Billing Procedures
- Intermediate Knowledge of Enterprise Contracting
- Intermediate Negotiation skills
- Be Energetic, enthusiastic, academic, agile, and positive
- Be ambitious, self-motivated, goal-oriented and extremely driven
- Be process minded in development of high efficiency operating procedures
- Be outspoken and provide feedback to management that results in greater efficiency
- Have excellent written/verbal communication and client relationship skills
- Strive to achieve a strong working knowledge/background of eCommerce and the BigCommerce product
- Be consultative by nature and have an account management mindset
