Vyopta is seeking a software engineer to work directly with customers that use our analytics platform for enterprise video and unified collaboration networks. Vyopta’s products are used by many of the largest private and public sector enterprises in the world. Our cloud-based platform allows organizations to monitor and improve the performance of their collaboration network, increase adoption, and deeply integrate video into their business. 

Responsibilities

• Working collaboratively with our sales and development teams to deliver positive business results to customers through their use of Vyopta tools
• Understanding the business needs behind customer requests and help them achieve their desired outcomes
• Developing productive working partnerships with end users to ensure a continuing relationship with our customers
• Assisting with testing and diagnosing software issues in both break-fix and QA settings
• Assisting with creating initial drafts of user documentation

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Engineering discipline
• Proficiency in one or more of the following areas: .Net framework 4.0, C#, ASP.NET development, Java, SOAP, REST, XML, and SQL Server
• 2+ years of development and/or integration experience with an emphasis on creating data-driven web-based software applications
• Experience with collaboration networks infrastructure strongly preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Passion for solving problems and sharing insights, not data
• Ability to thrive in ambiguity; comfort with a highly interrupt-driven environment
• Demonstrated ability and desire to develop strong working relationships with clients/customers
• Courage to do what is right and best, not only what is expedient
