All of this data is used as per original intent, but now HotSchedules is looking to examine, combine, analyze and visualize data for value-added services for our customers and our business. This is your opportunity to sit at the heart of this effort.
Role and Responsibilities
- Work with SaaS Ops and Engineering team to understand the application data and business logic that supports it.
- Work with product team to understand strategic and tactical initiatives, and use that information to recommend KPIs.
- Manage and communicate KPIs tracking success to objectives.
- Analyze and recognize trends through data analysis to create insightful visualization and help make recommendations to product and marketing
- Create and manage dashboards in Google Analytics
Job Requirements
- Experience with SQL and map reduce is essential
- Experience with Python
- Experience with AWS
- Experience with Google Analytics
- Experience with QlikView preferred. Other BI and analysis application experience helpful.
- Experience with Data Warehouses
- Can extract data from weblog files, SQL databases, and other flat file sources, user surveys, and focus sessions
- Data Analyst with an emphasis on Sales & Marketing for a greenfield SaaS application rollout.
- Perform pattern extraction from product usage statistics including Google Analytics, Enterprise, Data Warehouse, Weblogs, User Surveys, Focus Sessions, etc. to synthesize plans for product adoption KPI's and identify actions our Sales/Marketing/Product/Development teams should take to improve uptake, adoption, and stickiness.
- BS in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or similar field.
