We are seeking an enterprising individual to join our growing team as a Dev Ops Engineer

Responsibilities:

• You'll work on the infrastructure underlying all of Development systems. This includes tooling for the CI/CD pipeline
• Work as a part of an Agile team to establish architecture for high availability and fault tolerance using load balancers, API gateways, etc.
• Develop tools that will provide insight into what our code is doing, when and where it's doing it, and how well it's running
• Promote a DevOps culture by building relationships between disciplines and driving enhancements to facilitate rapid feedback and the seamless flow of code into production
• Take ownership of your discipline alongside fellow practitioners and work to develop best practices

Requirements:

• Strong experience in software engineering, systems engineering (DevOps) or site reliability
• Strong working knowledge of AWS environment and tools. Azure experience is a plus
• Experience with Ansible or other configuration management tools
• Knowledge of network topology, protocols, and debugging on Linux systems
• Experience working with container technologies (Docker preferred) in a Microservices architecture
• Proficiency in one or more scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Perl
• Strong knowledge in monitoring tools like Pagerduty, Sysdig, or others to help build insight into the functionality of our applications
• Demonstrated ability to effectively establish and maintain working relationships across disciplines and across the organization
• A passion for analyzing processes and systems and finding ways to make them more efficient

What else will help:

• Experience with the following is a strong plus: Rancher, Cassandra, RabbitMQ, Redis, PostgreSQL, systemd, Elasticsearch, Splunk, Sumo Logic
• Experience with GoCD, Jenkins, or other CI/CD tools
