If that sounds like you, then we want you to join our DevOps team. DevOps are the Special Forces of our engineering teams. You'll work closely with our development and operations teams to make sure our software is ready to deploy and prepared to scale with our growing customer base. You'll prove out the systems designs necessary to run our services, and you'll be a key part of all future service design decisions.

DevOps responsibilities include:

• Package and prepare all software for deployment
• Setup and automate development, testing, staging, and production systems for new services
• Plan and automate software deployments and service upgrades
• Develop systems and software to monitor and report service information
• Develop systems and software to help generate projections for future scaling needs

DevOps engineers need the following:

• Knowledge of all things Linux, including networking, software packaging, and tuning
• CentOS or Red Hat Enterprise Linux deployment experience
• Scripting experience, especially with Python, Perl, or Bash
• Basic understanding of networking, especially switching and VLANs
• Strong communication and writing skills (e.g. procedures)
• DITRW (Do It The Right Way) attitude
