The Golden Frog IT Operations team is looking for a DevOps & Infrastructure Manager. In this role you will be responsible for maintaining all development and production systems including managing a team that consists of DevOps Engineers, Systems Engineers, and Network Engineers. In addition, this position will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of system hardware, security, software, and related infrastructure.

Responsibilities-

• Develop highly scalable Linux servers.
• Maintain Linux/Unix environment across our Global Data Centers.
• Manage the day-to-day activities of the team, including management of departmental resources and staffing.
• Provide technical guidance and leadership, as well as mentoring to the team.
• Work to bring all our systems into a unified platform and process.
• Maintain the network and security across multiple products.
• Monitor system performance and activity.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues when necessary.
• Proactively monitor servers, storage, security, applications and services.
• Install, configure and maintain server hardware and software.
• Deploy hardware, patches/updates utilizing best practices.
• Recommends hardware and software upgrades according to growth statistics and capacity forecasts.
• Schedules, plans, and performs system upgrades, including coordinating the transition from test to production environments.

Qualifications-

• 7 years of hands on experience working in a Linux Administration or Engineering role.
• 5 years progressive Leadership experience.
• Working experience with Linux in datacenter and cloud environments.
• Experience with Ansible or Chef is a plus.
• Involvement with container technology. (Docker, etc)
• Worked with Git, JIRA and related Atlassian stack. (Confluence, Stash, Portfolio,etc)
• Experience with CICD frameworks. (Jenkins, Go or other related tools)
• Familiarity with MySQL and related databases.
• Experience with Rapid Scaling.
• Knowledge of fundamental networking principles and operations.
• Experience with logging/application monitoring tools such as: Splunk, Zabbix, Nagios
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field. (Experience may be considered in lieu of degree.)
