The Technology

Alegion’s Cloud Labor Platform distributes work to crowdsourcing marketplaces, such as Amazon’s Mechanical Turk, for fulfillment. Alegion’s advanced technology provides exceptional data quality, predictable linear pricing and unlimited scale to process large volumes of data-intensive tasks.

The Opportunity

As a key member of the Alegion Team, you will be responsible for the overall marketing strategy definition and plan execution.  This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for all aspects of our overall marketing strategy, including demand generation, content marketing, social, branding, PR, events and digital marketing.  We need a proven and innovative leader with experience in building and scaling a marketing organization from zero.  This role will be instrumental to helping achieve revenue goals and building brand awareness.  We are a fast-moving organization, so your B2B marketing background and startup expertise will be required to fuel our growth.

Key Accountabilities

· Develop the annual marketing plan and the strategies, tactics, and resources necessary to achieve stated company goals

· Establish success metrics, communicate results, monitor performance and refine as necessary.

· Build, develop, and manage a marketing team capable of carrying out the necessary marketing strategies and tactics.

· Design, develop, and refine workflow processes, including marketing automation and campaign management

· Collaborate with Sales to optimize the sales pipeline and deliver sales enablement materials

· Manage all aspects of content marketing, social, branding, PR, events and digital marketing

· Build, manage and monitor the Marketing budget

 

Qualifications

  • Currently serving as a Director or Sr. Director of Marketing
  • 7-12+ years of relevant B2B marketing experience
  • Startup experience is required
  • Bachelor’s degree; MBA is a plus
  • Proficiency in a wide-range of common marketing tools (analytics, optimization, ad mgmt, email mktg, automation, etc)
  • Previous experience within a software or SaaS organization
  • Proven track record of funnel management
  • Ability to work in a fluid environment and can adjust priorities on-the-fly
  • Data-driven with the ability to translate metrics to insights
  • High aptitude and understanding of technology
  • Self-starter and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • High level of integrity and follow through
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to mentor others
  • Thoughtful and methodical in organizing priorities and tasks daily
  • Impeccable written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong collaboration and relationship management skills
