We are seeking an experienced and entrepreneurial Director of Product Management to help bring disruptive cognitive computing experiences to the Retail and eCommerce space, in a high energy, startup environment. You will be responsible for owning the business and driving the strategy, GTM plans, product roadmap, messaging, and product demonstrations. You will have a chance to innovate and use our company’s crown jewels to drive all sorts of new micro-experiences that will sit on top of existing digital commerce and retail enterprise processes. You will learn cutting edge AI and help shape the digital brain that is driving tremendous engagement and conversion uplift at some of the largest retailers in the world. 

You will partner with customers, sales, engineering, and other stakeholders to help define next generation shopping experiences. As one of the key leaders of this business and the team, you will be leverage your wealth of deep commerce experience and work closely with the Chief Product Officer to lay the foundation of growth for this business at CognitiveScale. Requirements:

  • Must have 4-5+ years of deep Digital Commerce experience
  • 5+ years of Product Management excellence
  • Comfortable with C Suite conversation
  • Strong technology and business acumen
  • Superior communication skills, presentation skills and executive presence
  • BBA/BS required, Engineering background and MBA preferred
  • 2+ years’ experience bringing entirely new products to market
  • Experience with SaaS and/or cloud based solutions
  • Strong appetite for emerging technology and risk
  • Highly self-motivated with an appetite for a startup environment that is evolving rapidly
  • Strong ability to understand complex solutions and technology
  • Strong ability to collaborate in a UX design process
  • Superior ability to evaluate, prioritize, and communicate requirements and feature roadmaps
  • Demonstrated understanding of product lifecycle management, whole product strategies, and go-to-market strategies
  • Superior communication skills, specifically when communicating complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience
  • Strong project management skills and self-discipline for leading teams to execute with high quality
  • Strong analytical and decision making abilities

Responsibilities Include:

  • Innovating
  • Partnering with engineering, design, customers, and stakeholders to define business needs, requirements, and feature roadmaps for cognitive commerce products
  • Building business cases for investing in products and features
  • Being a product champion by analyzing external market trends, competition, opportunities that impact the user and capabilities of the platform
  • Authoring requirements, use cases, and stories, and work closely with engineering during execution to ensure the product is built as envisioned
  • Working closely with UX designers define the interaction experience for end-users
  • Driving the cadence and process of prioritizing features, releases, and roadmap
  • Educating and training internal stakeholders on the product
  • Communicating product roadmap and changes to stakeholders
  • Partnering with outbound marketing to communicate changes to customers
  • Defining KPI metrics by which the product’s value will be measured at clients
  • Defining performance and hypothesis testing strategies for the product
