Director, Strategy & Analytics

Springbox seeks a Director, Strategy & Analytics to lead our Austin team. At Springbox, this role defines the agency’s vision and approach to data analysis, digital strategy and online marketing. This role leads the Strategy & Analytics department, and reports directly to the CXO.

Job Details

The Director, Strategy & Analytics has final responsibility for all agency efforts concerned with digital strategy, digital marketing, web analytics, data analysis and web content optimization. The Director leads a team of marketing, research and analytics professionals focused on providing a variety of strategic services across the lifecycle of multiple, simultaneous client projects. Responsibilities for this role include the following:

  • Leadership of entire department process, scale and efficiency of strategy and analytics projects
  • Department management, project prioritization, team leadership and career growth for multiple team members
  • Innovation lead for development of new tools, approaches, platforms and services that will disrupt the traditional engagement/agency model and provide increased efficiencies and profitability
  • Agency lead for all new business initiatives and RFPs concerned with marketing, strategy, research and web analytics; identification and definition of strategic opportunities with prospects and current clients
  • Define and champion a vision for scalable client data management, analysis and reporting
  • Oversight of ongoing strategic measurement, testing and tracking for existing clients

Qualifications

  • 10+ years experience in digital marketing and/or digital agency services. At least five years’ experience as a leadership role in Strategy, Web Marketing, Digital Product Management or related leadership position for digital agencies, consultancies, or similar capacity managing account relationships and direct management of multiple team members.
  • Superior ability and strong past experience in web analytics, data analysis, digital marketing and web optimization. All candidates should display a strong competency in PPC/Paid Search, Display Advertising, Email Marketing, Social Media Marketing and Analytics, SEO and optimization of ecommerce websites. Deep understanding and experience with online analytics platforms, marketing platforms, Google AdWords, and related tools and services required.
  • Direct experience working with UX and content strategy teams, especially analysis, testing and optimization of web content, landing pages and purchase flow experiences. Preference given to those with extensive experience directing A/B testing programs for large-scale websites and marketing initiatives.
  • Strong competency and experience directing competitive, consumer and market research
