Ecommerce Marketing Manager
We are looking for a tech-savvy Ecommerce Marketing Manager to join our team. The person who leads the charge for us will have a deep appreciation and understanding of what it takes to reduce friction in the buyer’s journey and drive a seamless, end-to-end buying experience in a B2B environment. We need someone who can speak conversion optimization in both aesthetics and copy, while simultaneously thinking like an analyst and letting data drive as many decisions as possible.
What You’ll Do
- Influence department-wide online marketing strategy in conjunction with Content, Demand Generation, and Product Marketing teams
- Develop and execute tailored marketing campaigns for the ecommerce segment of our go-to-market strategy
- Own responsibility for driving the funnel for ecommerce marketing segment
- Expand our marketing to include a broad set of digital tactics not currently in place (conversion points, trial experiences, peer reviews, peer support, etc) and optimize efforts currently in place
- Maintain working knowledge of best practices in ecommerce marketing and use data to drive decision-making and evolution of our marketing strategies
- Introduce new strategies and tactics to our mix (trial-to-purchase, chat, online reviews, etc), setting evaluation metrics and expectations to gauge success
- Implement programs that reduce friction in the buying cycle, driving a seamless experience from conversion to trial to purchase and ultimately lifetime support
- Collaborate with IT/Web Design team to implement end-to-end tracking from point of interest to trial to purchase to provisioning and ultimately support
Requirements:
- BA/BS degree in marketing, advertising, or related field.
- 4+ years of experience in digital marketing, with 1-2 years specifically focused on ecommerce strategies in a SaaS or subscription-based B2B environment.
- Experience with Google Analytics, A/B testing, and Landing Page and Email conversion benchmarks and best practices.
- Excellent copywriting and editing skills, with high-proficiency in writing for conversion across a broad range of digital media.
