Enterprise Account Manager
BigCommerce, named a "Best Place to Work" in Austin 2016, is looking for an Enterprise Account Manager for our Austin Four Points Office. In this exciting role you will represent BigCommerce while advising the most exciting and fastest growing merchants in eCommerce, provide industry leading advocacy, drive client revenue growth, and help our clients Sell More!
What You’ll Do
- You will be assigned an Enterprise Account book of business where you will be in charge of the retention, client satisfaction and revenue growth for your clients.
- Provide quarterly business reviews of the stores in your book of business and recommend business plans that result in year over year growth.
- Project manage a store launch plan, in partnership with the Onboarding Consultant Team (data migration, unpacking, taxes, shipping, products, payments, SSL, domain, system integrations).
- Serve as dedicated point of contact for Enterprise clients starting at the onboarding stage and continuing throughout the entire client lifecycle.
- Provide best practices, advice and guidance to help your book of business sell more.
- Partner with Sales representatives during the sales cycle to gather business requirements, document use case, and define client success.
- Respond to all client requests across multiple channels within service level requirements.
- Communicate clearly the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.
- Recommend apps, integrations, features and partners.
- Forecast and track key account metrics.
- Advocate internally for clients inter and intra departmentally as required.
- Customize and deliver training and training documentation to clients’ teams as required.
- Operate as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to your customers.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
- Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors.
- Assist with high severity requests or issue escalations as needed.
Who You Are
- 2+ years of experience in managing an enterprise portfolio or direct client consulting within a fast paced environment.
- Familiar with foundational online marketing principles and best practices in the following areas - SEO, Paid Search, Affiliate, Display Advertising, Conversion Tools, Email Marketing, Social Media, and content (i.e. blogging and videos).
- Experience with eCommerce consulting, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript preferred.
- Strong working knowledge/background of eCommerce and marketing highly desired
- Excellent time management skills
- Proficient in professional written and verbal communication.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Apps.
- Experience with the the Bigcommerce product a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or computer science related field or equivalent experience required.
- Project Management Professional certificate preferred.
- Energetic, enthusiastic, academic, agile, and positive.
- Have a strong desire to teach clients about the BigCommerce platform, enabling them to Sell More.
- Be outspoken and provide feedback to management that results in greater efficiency.
- Be ambitious, self-motivated, goal-oriented, highly collaborative and extremely driven.
- Be consultative by nature and have an account management mindset.
- Have excellent negotiation skills.
