Enterprise Sales Representatives (ESRs) are responsible for driving that mission by engaging with F1000 & Large Enterprise prospects and assist in helping them realize the value of NSS Labs. Performance will be measured on new bookings specific to Cyber Advanced Warning System (CAWS) along with private test engagements. Other measures will include pipeline creation, new prospect growth and forecast accuracy. An implicit responsibility of the ESR is take ownership of strategic deals.  The ESR role will report to the Sr. Director of Enterprise Sales. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leveraging the “team” approach to selling through involvement of Sales Engineers, Product Management, Marketing and the Senior Leadership team to provide customers with pricing and configurations to meet their needs as required.
  • Educate customers on the technical capabilities/features of the CAWS platform and research customer specific requirements to ensure alignment.
  • Understand how to develop and deliver complex product demonstrations for Fortune 1000 environments.
  • Customer Engagement: gain customer insights, reframe how customers think about security and offer unique perspective that tie back to NSS Labs unique differentiators. Become a trusted, credible resource and develop a value-added relationship with prospects.
  • Communication: Articulate NSS Labs value proposition in addressing customer’s security priorities and effectively secure buy-in from key stakeholders/influencers and decision makers.
  • Deliver Results: Assert control throughout the sales interaction. We are looking for a candidate who can understand the decision-making process and has the ability to influence key decision-makers and link the value of NSS Labs with the needs of our prospects.
  • Personal Business Management: This person takes pride in forecasting accurately while hitting their goals and is comfortable utilizing salesforce.com to work leads and to plan, track and forecast opportunities.
  • Market Awareness: Have and continue to develop knowledge and insights about the current threat landscape, impact to customers, competitors and common security language and market movers.

Required Skills and Experiences:

  • Knowledge of cyber security work flows, threat intel platforms, industry standards and defense-in-depth strategies.
  • Track record in closing major end user customers (F1000) in opportunities.
  • Experience in the security market selling complex services and threat intelligence solutions.
  • Selling skills, technical product knowledge, forecasting, closing deals, customer persuasion.
  • Strong analytical and presentation skills, current market knowledge and excellent customer service skills are a must. Adept at communicating with a largely technical audience, as well as Director and C-Level audience.

  • 8+ years of sales experience, track record of successful, credible quota attainment in a F1000 and/or Large Enterprise business-to-business (B2B) software sales environment.
  • Consistently achieve/surpass quotas to ensure revenue objectives.
  • Ability to work in a high-energy team environment; team player with highest level of integrity.
  • Positive and energetic phone skills, excellent listening skills, strong writing skills.
  • Proficient with standard corporate productivity tools (MS Office 365, salesforce.com, etc.).
