We are looking for a Financial Analyst to join the Gift Card team who is excited to help grow and operate a fast growing business for RetailMeNot. This is a big impact opportunity and the position is located in sunny Austin, Texas and reports to the Controller, Gift Cards.

Responsibilities:

• General support for the Gift Card Finance team in all operations in managing the Gift Card segment
• Analysis on gift card pricing and inventory to maximize revenue growth and gross profit margin
• Working with partners to purchase, upload, and pay for gift card inventory
• Support the month-end closing process through reconciling key accounts
• Provide support in satisfying regular financial audits
• Support the team’s collections process
• Produce ad-hoc analyses to optimize the business  and allow the team to report more timely and accurately   

Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
• 1+ years corporate finance or accounting
• Comfort with large data sets in excel and ability to analyze and format data in a presentation ready format
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel and online equivalents.
• Experience with MySQL a big plus
• High degree of attention to detail is critical
• Ability to multi-task and meet fast deadlines.
• Strong problem solving skills and high degree of intellectual curiosity
• Outstanding communication skills.
• Self-motivated and enjoys working in a fast paced, results driven environment.
• Positive, can-do, does what it takes attitude
