We are looking for a talented Front End Engineer to join our team where you will get to work collaboratively with smart engineers to create applications for higher education that harness data, deliver insights, and translate those insights into actionable and consumable recommendations for those at the frontlines of education -- administrators, faculty, and advisors, committed to enhancing the learning experience and improving student success.
Your objectives
- Meeting aggressive deadlines as well as possessing the ability to lead technical tasks through development, testing and deployment.
- Making awesome code for applications using Javascript, HTML, CSS.
- Devising and developing code architecture that encourages reuse, readability, and best-practice coding standards (no messy or sloppy coding).
- Participate as an active member of our team, generate new ideas, and creatively discuss ways in which the team can improve, and take ownership.
Your tools
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
- Javascript, HTML, CSS
- Node.js
- Selenium
- Highcharts
- Bootstrap.js
- High competence in the areas of standards, accessibility, and design
- Keen awareness of the interplay between JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
- Familiarity with a range of design patterns/frameworks
- Experience working with large, high-performance platforms
- Working knowledge of the following systems: Git, PostgreSQL, Jenkins. Linux SaltStack
