Job Description + Responsibilities:
Reporting to the VP of Engineering, we are looking to hire talented, motivated, and driven contributors with expertise in React, competency in at least one OO language, some DB experience (including RDMBS and NoSQL exposure).
Who you are:
-- You possess excellent Javascript skills. You can explain the evolution of Javascript over the past 3 years.
-- You have real-world experience building React/Redux applications.
-- You have real-world experience with a server-side, object-oriented language. Ideally this would be Java, but if you're strong in C++ or C# that can work too.
--You own your work end-to-end, i.e. you take responsibility for what you code, building the proper instrumentation and monitoring for what you code, and supporting that code if things go wrong.
-- You are a Full Stack Engineer, not a developer who "can" do some data layer stuff or "can" do some front-end stuff when required.
-- You feel a responsibility to your craft: you don't commit garbage or sloppy code; you believe in standards.
-- You enjoy collaborating and welcome constructive criticism.
-- You have a passion outside of your profession.
-- Oh, and a sense of humor is always welcome--if not required.
