With the vision of being the one-stop shop for savings, RetailMeNot acquired Giftcard Zen, Inc., a secondary marketplace for gift cards. With the continued growth of the acquisition, Giftcard Zen by RetailMeNot is now looking for a highly motivated team member with a strong work ethic to join our Finance team as a General Ledger Accountant. This individual will be charged with performing the day to day management of all payment activities to our gift card suppliers and vendors while also playing a key role in identifying opportunities for improvement and developing processes and procedures as we continue to scale the business. What you'll do:

• Work closely with our sales growth team and assist in setting up new suppliers for payment
• Research, resolve and respond to payment questions or disputes
• Enter invoices and ensure correct approval, coding and matching of invoices
• Process bank transactions and daily payments to suppliers
• Collect and maintain vendor and customer contact information
• Assist in month end close process as well as quarterly and annual audits
• Perform monthly key account reconciliations and research any variances identified
• Collaborate cross functionally to help continue developing processes and procedures around supplier payments
• Special projects as assigned

Job Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related area. CPA or CPA candidate a plus.
• 2 - 3 years of accounting or payables experience with a strong understanding of GAAP
• Workday Financials experience a plus
• Outgoing, organized and able to communicate well with team members at all levels
• High attention to detail and team-oriented attitude
• Strong problem solving and organizational skills with the desire to take ownership of multiple tasks and meet competing deadlines
