HomeAway, Inc. is looking for a highly motivated Global Compensation Analyst to join the Compensation team. You will perform compensation administration and analyses and oversee a variety of compensation programs and initiatives, providing compensation expertise to Human Resources team members and to managers. You will also participate in HRIS set up and maintenance processes, perform compliance audits and create procedural documentation.

What will you do?
- Play a key role in conducting modeling and analyses to support the compensation team in the planning and delivery of global compensation programs and initiatives. This includes annual compensation planning, salary structure development, budgeting and more.
- Manage the bonus payment process by calculating bonus amounts, providing summaries and detailed documentation to management for audit and answering employee questions.
- Assist with the development and administration of sales incentive compensation plans in partnership with Sales, Sales Operations, Finance and leadership teams.
- Provide guidance to HR Business Partners and leadership on compensation related issues.
- Develop and present training materials to proactively educate employees on new or revised programs.
- Maintain compensation related Oracle tables and wiki pages, working with HR Operations to ensure process consistency.
- Provide ad hoc market analysis as needed for new or current jobs.
- Develop and document processes and procedures.
- Perform audits as required to ensure compliance.
- Additional project work as needed.
- Less than 10% travel required

What will you bring? - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- A minimum of five years of experience in compensation or a role requiring data analysis and modeling
- Certified Compensation Professional or completed coursework preferred
- Advanced Excel skills with a strong background in analytics and metrics
- Previous experience with Oracle and Workday is a plus
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, management and external vendors.
- Self-starter with high degree of initiative and follow through.
- Ability to plan and execute multiple projects while meeting deadlines as required.
- Excellent listening and verbal/written communication skills.
- High level of accuracy, strong attention to detail, and problem solving capabilities.
- Ability to use discretion in handling confidential and/or proprietary information.
