Job Description:

The Global Product Marketing is responsible for meeting and exceeding business objectives for product education and advocacy at HomeAway. Critical to the success of the role includes joining a new team in the product marketing organization and developing programs and content that looks at the entire customer lifecycle and turns prospects and customers into product experts and advocates of HomeAway. Due to the entrepreneurial and dynamic nature of our business, we are looking for team members who can operate successfully at a strategic level but who are equally comfortable at a detailed execution level. Our ideal candidate is strategic, adaptable, data-driven, and strongly motivated to contribute in any way possible to the success of the team, our customers and our global initiatives.

Responsibilities:

Understand the market

-Perform insights, quantitative and qualitative, to determine best opportunities and channels to reach prospects and customers

Be an expert

-Be the Experts, for all parts of the customer lifecycle – prospect to experienced

-Create and own the content library that drives expertise

Create and manage program strategy and plan for education

-Responsible for plan creation and partnering with marketing on execution including all content and events

-Content could include: A learning center, Videos, Training modules

-Events could include: Host and create events, Webinars, Customer sessions/meet ups, Summits, Training classes, etc

-Act as SME for events which includes speaking in webinar and events

Create and manage program strategy and plan for advocacy

-Build a community of advocates to share in educating customers to be revenue experts

Partner with other product marketing teams to support

-GTM and Adoption – partners with product, marketing, CS, Sales, to drive GTM and adoption of key products and features

Profile/Skills:

-5+ years internet, ecommerce experience in a global capacity

-3+ years of product marketing experience, preferably B2B and B2C

-Proven ability to educate prospects and customers and turn them into advocates

-Ability to build content library of vacation rental expertise to leverage across channels and programs

-Ability and track record of working in close partnership and developing strong relationships with product management and marketing teams

-Experience building marketing and community programs and acting as SME while partnering with Marketing to execute programs

-Experience partnering with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Support teams to become a customer expert and advocate

-A proven, successful track record of increasing customer advocates and NPS through well-executed programs

-Strong analytical and communication skills 

-MBA preferred
