Global Traveler Senior Product Marketing Manager

Job Description

Opportunity - The Global Traveler Senior Product Marketing Manager is responsible for leading go-to-market strategy and execution for global product launches at HomeAway. This critical role will partner across the organization to drive business objectives by crafting and communicating product positioning, messaging and customer narratives to improve engagement, conversion and customer experience. The Sr. Product Marketing Manager will develop a deep understanding of HomeAway’s customers and market, work closely with the UX team on content and design, ensure internal and external readiness and connect key product and marketing priorities.

Demonstrating marketing, ecommerce and travel industry expertise as well as personal attributes such as good judgment, business acumen, attention to detail, objectivity and accountability are keys to being successful in this role. Due to the entrepreneurial and dynamic nature of our business, we are looking for team members who can operate successfully at a strategic level but who are equally comfortable at a detailed execution level.


Profile/Skills:

-7+ years internet, travel or ecommerce experience, preferably in an international or global capacity 

-4+ years of product marketing or outbound marketing experience, preferably B2C, including creating, testing and amplifying product positioning and messages; developing and executing go-to-market strategies; and/or customer segmentation and targeting

-Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to listen effectively, socialize ideas across functions, and articulate the vision, both internally and externally.

-Track record of working in close partnership and developing strong relationships with product management, marketing and UX teams

-Experience driving engagement and adoption of new online features

-Experience partnering with Customer Support teams to become a customer expert and advocate

-Experience working in global, matrixed organization

-Strong analytical, organizational and project management skills 

-MBA preferred
