Graphic Design Intern
As our Graphic Design Intern, you’ll get to create graphics for all of ShipStation’s marketing avenues—from Facebook and Twitter backgrounds to advertisement images to blog content to infographics. You’ll have a chance to build out engaging and eye-catching material every day.
A successful candidate will have fresh & exciting ideas for engaging current and potential ShipStation users with graphic content. You should be enthusiastic and energetic about the eCommerce realm and social media, advertising, and all things content marketing.
Responsibilities:
- Design graphics, create concepts, and produce layouts for marketing efforts
- Keep ShipStation & partner content up-to-date in regards to branding guidelines
- Think creatively and develop new content, ads, print and other marketing materials
- Complete high-volume of production tasks in fast-paced environment
- Work closely with Content Manager to support your efforts
- Work as part of a marketing team with wide range of graphic needs
You Must Have:
- College degree (or currently in progress) in Graphic Design, Digital Art, or related field.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects
- Proven graphic design experience with a strong portfolio
- Proactive, self-motivated, well-organized, highly creative and strong attention to detail
- Excellent writing, editing and communication
- The entrepreneurial spirit, interest in ecommerce, and an excitement for the start-up experience
