The Opportunity 

Responsibilities:

• Work on software engineering projects to support key Integration Solutions initiatives. Must be able to solve complex technical problems and implement the solution
• Work with the Integration Support group to triage and research issues encountered with customers
• Working with the Integration Engineering team, organize and drive the bi-monthly deployment process, including release notes and other team communication
• Complete the work assigned by Integration Engineering management within the budgeted time agreed upon
• Complete the work assigned by the Engagement Manager within the budgeted time agreed upon
• Provide the Integration Engineering Management with status reports and keep him or her apprised of overall project status
• Work across the Integration Management group to ensure compliance with agreed supportability practices
• Attend daily standups and keep associated Jira tickets updated in a timely manner
• Ownership of Integration Engineering deployments
• Participate in update training and other events that help share one’s engineering skills
• Serve as a technical contact for Integration Engineering middleware, working closely with internal Operations teams in a role to support IE efforts with that team

Required Skills:

• Expert in Service Oriented Architecture Concepts: Web Services, XML, XSLT, and other integration technologies
• Talend Integration Platform experience
• Working knowledge of the Eclipse development environment
• API experience, especially integrating with REST APIs
• Willingness to provide on-call support during nights and weekends as needed

Requested Skills:

• Previous experience using Jira/Confluence
• Knowledge of LINUX
• Scripting experience, preferably with focus on alerts creation

Education/Experience:

• Minimum BS/BA in Computer Science or related field
• Minimum 4-5 years experience in same or similar field
