What is the opportunity?


The Junior Salesforce Administrator will report to the Senior Product Manager, Growth and will be responsible for administering and maintaining Main Street Hub’s Salesforce.com instance.  This will include the configuration, implementation, and ongoing support of the platform. This role will collaborate with business users, internal stakeholders, and development teams to meet the needs of the business. Candidates must have strong communication skills and thrive in a team-oriented environment.


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:



  • Configure and maintain the Salesforce instance, including but not limited to: creating and modifying Users, Fields, Validation Rules, Workflows, Automated Alerts, Field Updates, Page Layouts, Data Integrity standards and practices and Security functionality.

  • Create Reports and Dashboards that appropriately represent complex merges and joins of the instance’s data with a care for scalability and longevity.

  • Maintain all internal documentation regarding how the Salesforce Org is constructed.

  • Handle all inbound User requests and respond to them in a brisk and appropriate fashion.

  • Work with a cross-functional team of analysts, strategists and developers to provide the most pertinent solutions to our business requirements.


What does it take to succeed?



  • 1-3 years of proven Salesforce.com experience in an Administrative capacity.

  • Broad understanding of CRM Best Practices.

  • Rudimentary understanding of relational databases and the interaction of Objects (database tables).

  • Intermediate Excel skills.

  • Great communicator and team player.

  • Salesforce Administrator or Consultant Certification(s) a big plus.
