ABOUT THIS POSITION
We are searching for an Learning Experience Intern (minimum 15 hours per week through December) to help us launch a new course within our platform. If you have an interest in educational technology, instructional design, or how to teach and learn at scale, read on!
ABOUT ACEABLE
Aceable is a mobile education platform that focuses on creating affordable, engaging, and convenient educational content across all devices. Built by former teachers, NASA engineers, and those passionate about education, the Austin-based team is obsessed with helping people with life’s certification challenges. After launching its first mobile app to provide accredited driver’s ed courses, Aceable is now expanding into other verticals for required education. To date, Aceable touts more than 400,000 users and counting, as it continues to expand nationwide.
ABOUT YOUR NEW TEAM
The Learning Experience team is currently comprised of a three former educators of little humans. You’ll be working cross functionally with the Product, Content, and Marketing teams to build and launch a new course. We’re a team of educators looking to help our students achieve positive and meaningful learning outcomes.

WHAT YOU'LL DO- Research and clarify the instructional requirements for the education vertical, by state and industry
- Prototype different content delivery methods depending on the state and vertical requirements
- Align existing content to the expected level of rigor, based on the certification examination
- Build reliable formative assessments that can effectively serve as indicators for student progress
- Create and test surveys that lead to instructional insights
- Build internal resources to scale instructional design within the company
- A background in education/pedagogy/instructional design
- Must be familiar with the Understanding by Design/Backwards Design framework
- Experience in lesson planning and building course curriculums
- Extensive experience finding creative learning solutions
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to ask kick ass questions
- A detail oriented mindset
- Actual classroom teaching experience and/or teaching certification
- Experience designing digital learning experiences
- Project management or operations background
