 We are hiring an experienced Logistics Manager to lead our distribution operations and manage the fulfilment of U.S. and worldwide orders for our product, the Virtuix Omni virtual reality treadmill and related accessories. Our ideal candidate has worked in operations, either distribution or manufacturing, and has experience managing worldwide logistics for large hardware products.  

 

As our Logistics Manager, you will become part of a great team at a company that is pioneering the new wave of virtual reality. This position comes with a large degree of responsibility and a unique chance to influence the company’s financial performance, our role in the emerging Active VR space, and the success of the VR industry as a whole. In this leadership role, you will report directly to our CEO in Austin and form strong working relationships with our President and Director of Materials in China. The position comes with a competitive compensation and benefits package and an equity stake in Virtuix.

Your responsibilities:

  • Manage fulfillment of orders to U.S. customers
  • Manage offsite 3PL services
  • Coordinate ocean and air freight shipments from China to our U.S. warehouses
  • Assist in coordinating deliveries from China to international distributors
  • Prepare demand forecasts and issue purchase orders to our production team in China
  • Coordinate with our China production team, sales teams, and international distributors to manage demand and ensure an uninterrupted flow of goods to all markets
  • Oversee the RMA process

Required skills and experience:

  • APICS training preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of logistics management experience
  • Track record of setting up logistics programs and achieving large gains in efficiency
  • Strong customer orientation and experience dealing directly with customers
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV is a plus
  • Ability to speak Mandarin is a plus
  • Detail-oriented, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
