We’re looking for a sales-minded well spoken, tenacious individual who has sales experience in making outbound phone calls to join us as a Market Development Representative.

THE ROLE

What you'll do at TrendKite:

  • Schedule quality demos for sales team by identifying, researching and contacting potential customers and ensure they occur
  • Hit and/or exceed a monthly quota
  • Make 30 outbound calls per day and 100 outbound emails per day using sales enablement tools and in a professional/creative manner
  • Prospect quality contacts and accounts that are a best fit for using the TrendKite platform
  • Be the first point of contact for potential clients while executing marketing and sales tactics
  • Collect market data before and during customer outreach to understand prospective customer needs and effectively communicate those needs to the sales team
  • Partner with sales reps to ensure that opportunities are moving forward

What you MUST bring to the table:

  • An interest in moving to a consultative Sales position within a software company
  • 4 year Bachelor's degree preferred
  • US Citizen or Permanent Resident (We will not sponsor at this time)
  • 1 year experience making outbound calls
  • Clearly articulate TrendKite’s value proposition and use cases
  • Innate hunger, self-motivation and work ethic
  • Interest in and passion for working at a start-up
  • Positivity and desire to uplift and share knowledge with those around you
  • Adaptable but organized- We're a start up! You've got to be OK with being on your toes at times but able to maintain focus within your day to day activities to reach goals

Bonus if you have:

  • Lead generation experience in a SaaS technology startup
  • General tech start-up experience already
  • Sales and Salesforce.com experience
