What is the opportunity?

The Marketing Analyst is responsible for the analysis and optimization of all digital marketing channels at Main Street Hub. This role provides direction and assists the implementation of each of the following: digital and social media strategy and account management, campaign creation, SEM, SEO, email marketing, and landing page creation and maintenance. Our Marketing Analyst will also be involved in the development and enhancement of the company’s websites, online marketing tools and other digital assets.

  • Analyze and interpret company web metrics and analytics to identify trends and areas of focus in on-line traffic metrics, traffic sources, geographic markers, device usage, browser usage, etc.
  • OLM & e-mail channel reporting, results, recommendations:
    • Website
    • SEM/PPC
    • Landing pages
    • Creative optimization
  • Research and recommend additional strategies to maximize integrated marketing campaign results.
  • Maximize online exposure through both organic and paid search
  • Develop new strategies for testing, bidding and organization of account structure
  • Create external and internal content strategies and implementation
  • Interact with internal copywriters to optimize copy and landing pages to align with SEO strategy
  • Audit, develop, generate and analyze SEO and SEM performance and strategies via site and search traffic analysis reporting
  • Ensure a rapid pace of testing for advertising channels with the ability to define, measure and identify successful tests and scale these programs
  • Salesforce lead support (cleaning, assigning, etc.)
  • Manage analytics and reporting on warm leads team lead distribution, allocation, and results
  • Manage digital ad operations (tagging, trafficking, data collection)

What will it take to succeed?

  • 1-2 years of experience in advertising, preferably digital advertising
  • Bachelor’s degree required - preferably in marketing, economics, business or a similar field
  • Ability to implement and understand marketing analytics and apply findings to campaigns
  • SEM/SEO/Display/email marketing background preferred
  • Media campaign planning experience
  • Test & learn background with the ability to deep dive into performance data on a daily basis, drawing conclusions and making optimization recommendations
  • Highly analytical, focused on informing performance optimization based on gathering and examining data from multiple sources
  • Willingness to learn new things
  • Bonus points for:
    • Prior experience with Salesforce, Marketo, HTML/CSS, Photoshop
    • SQL, R, or other analytics platform highly preferred
    • Familiarity with the Local/SMB space
    • Experience directly involved with email campaign execution, list analysis and segmentation, A/B testing, marketing automation, and building lead nurture campaigns.
