Marketing Automation Intern

HomeAway is seeking a talented Marketing Automation Intern to assist the coordination and execution of email campaigns from idea generation through delivery. This position will work directly with marketing teams spanning HomeAway’s entire brand portfolio, including 20+ brands across 10 geographies around the world.

Responsibilities:

- Assist in planning and executing both ad-hoc communications and complex lifecycle campaigns.

- Work daily in our world-class Marketing Automation tool to build and maintain global email campaigns for all HomeAway brands.

- Coordinate with Government Relations team to ensure email campaigns execute correctly.

- Handle coupon code administration tool .

- Assist with creating and maintaining internal wiki pages.

- Measure and analyze campaign effectiveness including email and conversion metrics.

- Ensure all marketing initiatives are routed to the appropriate stakeholders for approvals and delivered on schedule.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Computer (Excel, Power Point and Word) and organizational skills. 

- Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written. 

- Intellectual and analytical curiosity – initiative to dig into the “why” of various results. 

- Must be comfortable with uncertainty. Projects and assignments will change rapidly, must be flexible enough to accommodate changing priorities and timelines.

- Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills.

- Able to work independently and proactively.

- Passionate about marketing and travel industry.

- Basic HTML experience a plus.
