Headspring Marketing Manager  

 Role Description: 

This Marketing Manager will oversee the development of strategic marketing programs and processes to support sales and marketing at Headspring. This individual will identify and develop relationship based programs and campaigns designed to produce sales opportunities. This person will also be responsible for developing, establishing, and maintaining on-going company relationships with strategic partners and clients and build go-to-market plans that satisfy our client’s needs.

This role is an exciting opportunity to be a key contributor to the company’s marketing strategy and sales growth and will be the primary lead for executing on programs related to the Headspring brand, messaging, website, email blasts, case studies, and social media.

The Marketing Manager will have strong project management capabilities and an interest in establishing best practices for marketing. The ideal candidate will have experience in the software and/or consulting industry and be a highly motivated, self-starter who appreciates a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

The Marketing Manager will wear many hats and juggle multiple balls at the same time while being responsible for not only crafting our overall strategy but expected to roll-up their sleeves and implement and manage the programs. The strategy developed is expected to drive new revenue for the company.

The Marketing Manager will also be responsible for creating and implementing a demand generation program to help drive sales. Candidates will also know how to implement a Content Marketing program and SEO programs.

 Responsibilities May Include:

  • Develop integrated marketing campaigns incorporating marketing communication vehicles including advertising, sales promotion, direct marketing, and social media
  • Assist sales team as required for client facing engagements
  • Analyze business opportunities, assessing potential markets, and developing strong business cases for use in new marketing initiatives
  • Research and understand the competitive landscape and develop ideas and solutions to establish market differentiation and preferences
  • Create, budget and organize marketing plans that include pricing strategies, balancing company objectives, client satisfaction, and gain the highest ROI
  • Work closely with the sales and leadership teams to develop strategies and tactics for growing market share in both new and existing markets
  • Report on all metrics including those related to market penetration and campaign performance
  • Demand generation – Develop, launch and measure integrated campaigns and provide the resources and tools the demand gen programs may require
  • Brand and messaging – Maintain visual brand guidelines and interpretation of the brand across all possible channels; be the brand steward and internal advocate for the brand’s visual and written identity; maintain and advance our messaging best practices to best meet the needs of all stakeholders
  • Website – Ensure routine updates are completely in a timely manner; develop strategy to evolve content, continuously improve user experience and SEO and advance use of new technology and online capabilities
  • Social Media – Ensure a strategic and professionalized presence

 Qualifications:

  • Excellent writing, verbal and presentation skills partnered with painstaking attention to details
  • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, communication, business administration or similar field
  • 4 - 6 years of marketing, corporate communications, or internal communications experience
  • Clear communicator with the ability to effortlessly take complicated issues and create concise deliverables to communicate the company’s point of view
  • Strong creative judgment and guidance, with an eye for design and visual aesthetics, and the ability to communicate creative direction
  • Demonstrated background creating content and messaging for the sales team
  • Highly effective project manager with the ability to work effectively under deadline, within budget and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • A demonstrated successful track record of building technology brands
  • An excellent team player who can work successfully in team environment

  • Creative problem-solving ability
  • Software Proficiency: MS Office including PowerPoint & Excel; lead generation software, Microsoft Dynamics CRM software experience, and Drupal experience a plus
