Job Description
We’re looking for an innovative and proactive marketer who will help build brand awareness, increase customer acquisition, and enhance our marketing efforts via compelling content and more. As the Marketing Manager, you’ll work out of Dropoff’s Austin headquarters and report to the VP, Marketing.
Responsibilities Include:
Develop content strategy and create marketing content including blog articles, SEO pages, research studies, ebooks and webinars for use on the Dropoff website, in sales outreach and in nurturing clients
Create sales enablement tools, including website content, emails, brochures, and presentations
Interview and collaborate with internal stakeholders, as well as external subject matter experts (e.g., clients, prospects, partners) to create compelling content assets and presentations
Research and monitor industry news stories to create compelling curated content pieces
Manage external content writers, when applicable
Partner with SEO expert to identify keywords to target
Work with in-house and contract designers to create graphics and images that support new content assets and presentations
Collaborate on social media planning, writing, monitoring, and reporting
Analyze project performance and impact, derive insights and recommend actions to improve performance
Develop content using the style, voice and tone of the Dropoff brand across all materials
Other duties as assigned by the VP, Marketing
Requirements:
4-year degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Business or related field
2- 5 years of related marketing and/or industry experience
Experience researching and writing copy for websites, ebooks, case studies, infographics, etc. (candidates must have a portfolio of content samples)
Superior writing and editing skills (grammar, spelling and punctuation)
Excellent research and analytics skills
B2B marketing experience a plus
Passion, creativity, intelligence, curiosity, and entrepreneurship
A strong “can-do” attitude and work ethic; proactive and resourceful
Excellent verbal and written skills; copywriting and editing skills a plus
Ability to multi-task projects and meet deadlines consistently
Willing to take on project outside of job description
