The Role

Are you interested in taking your marketing career to the next level by owning demand-gen at our fast-growth startup? Do you geek-out on funnel and campaign design, and the marketing automation technology to bring it to life including WordPress, Marketo, Salesforce, Trendkite, Google AdWords, and Google Analytics? We’re looking for a hungry, creative, and innovative marketer who wants to make a huge impact on an industry that has historically been starved for marketing leadership. We’re scrappy and ambitious, producing shareable influencer and social content, supporting our sales team, and designing unique SEO-maximized web environments to accelerate awareness and adoption for the RealMassive marketplace.

This role reports directly to the VP of Marketing, includes salary + benefits, and is based in our downtown Austin HQ office. You will interface heavily with leadership across our sales, product, and operations teams to identify target markets and customers, and help shape next generation products and services. Externally, you’ll support market launches, industry events and sponsorships, partner and press relations as we get very aggressive in brand-building, content, and news production in the coming months. We’re a startup with nothing but “blue ocean” market opportunities, which means there’s no standard blueprint for success. Modernizing an entrenched, rich industry is not for the faint of heart, and we need spirited folks who are comfortable rolling up their sleeves to scale our brand and revenue potential.

Core Responsibilities

• Manage website priorities including ongoing SEO, creative/design/copy, campaign landing pages, blog presence, and market-level property search experiences
• Interface heavily with our product team’s marketing engineer to explore next-generation web experiences, funnel design, and lead capture
• Manage web, email, and social campaigns through free, social, Marketo, and AdWords accounts to develop leads, deliver and qualify contacts for sales demos
• Manage editorial calendar and external agency partners for blog production, social editorial and community management, and internal news/content generation
• Positively represent RealMassive’s brand, culture, and values in all client and partner interactions, online and in person 

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-years in marketing, technology, and/or SaaS solutions preferred
• 4 year college degree
• Innate passion for solving problems, self-motivated, and strong work ethic
• Data-driven with the ability to translate business objectives to metrics and measurement methods, interpret data, derive insights, and take action
• A proactive outlook on the challenges inherent in educating an industry historically underserved from a technology and data perspective
• Adaptable but organized, comfortable with ambiguity – we are a startup!
• Stellar communication skills; verbal and written
• Past examples of sales excellence and collaborative/consultative selling
• Adept at social media and interest/acumen in digital marketing

 Useful Skills

• Basic understanding of commercial real estate and vertical tech solutions
• Familiarity with form, contact, and automation tool (Marketo)
• Competence in SEO initiatives and measurement (Google Analytics, Linkdex)
• Comfort in managing Google AdWords account and internal Google Analytics reports
• Competence with social media channels, especially Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn – management/scheduling capabilities a plus (Hootsuite)
• Basic Photoshop (Creative Suite) skills
• Past start-up experience
• Experience with targeting diverse customer segments – SMB → Enterprise
