HomeAway is seeking a talented, high-performing and motivated analyst to work on multi-channel marketing efforts. This individual will be part of a matrixed team of channel experts, whose goals are to drive brand awareness, site traffic and booking demand of travelers. Collaborating on everything from strategy through to process development and executional oversight, the main focus of this individual will be reporting KPIs and ROI metrics to key internal and external stakeholders as well as tracking global campaigns and integrated programs. An ideal candidate will blend experience in cross-org people management skills, creativity, project management, and technical aptitude. He/She will be comfortable in both the strategic and execution dimensions of marketing.

 

Responsibilities

The Marketing Analyst is responsible for detail reporting and tracking of all marketing campaigns and channel performance for our various traveler segments. The analyst delivers a suite of reports on a weekly basis, flags reporting changes, and recommends deep dive analysis that should be pursued with our data insights team

Understands the impact of end-to-end integrated marketing campaigns impact including the underlying data and KPIs and provides advice to the campaign manager and the channel owners.

Conceptually understands data sources and the relationship within them both in terms of business sense and in terms of database cross referencing in order to ensure correct analysis and correct operational flow of information to tools


Desired Skills and Experience

-Established professional experience in a marketing or ecommerce environment

-Passion for consuming data and reports to help understand the success or failure of a program

-Analytical mindset

-Great sense of details and precision

-Executing end-to-end (digital) marketing funnel including the underlying data and KPIs, providing advice campaign managers, digital strategist (including specific web metrics and KPIs).

-Experience in Marketing Analyst role or similar
