ABOUT THIS POSITION
We’re looking for a Web Developer. A great one. Aceable’s next web developer will focus primarily on the front-end as we define and deliver our mobile-first sites. You will work with the Marketing team to help us improve our existing site, launch new ones, and create new A/B conversion tests on a regular basis.

Aceable (composed of Aceable.com and AceableAgent.com) is a mobile education platform that focuses on creating affordable, engaging, and convenient educational content across all devices. Built by former teachers, NASA engineers and those passionate about education, the Austin-based team is obsessed with helping people with life’s certification challenges. After launching its first mobile app to provide accredited driver’s ed courses, Aceable is now expanding into other verticals for required education, including real estate continuing education. To date, Aceable touts more than 400,000 users and counting, as it continues to expand nationwide.
ABOUT YOUR NEW TEAM
At Aceable, you’ll have the opportunity to work closely with a tight-knit Marketing team and play a critical role in helping us hit our 2017 targets. The person in this role will work with our existing developer. The team will also liaison with our engineering department (we work together closely).

WHAT YOU'LL DO- Jump in and design solutions to meet our customer facing marketing and product needs
- Help translate the needs of marketing and UX teams to deliver engaging, responsive landing pages in HTML, CSS, Javascript
- Maintain our Wordpress until we transition over to our new platform
- Work on conversion improvements and design and implement new A/B tests
- Create new pages to support SEO content
- Work with the marketing team to implement new analytics systems
- Design reporting tools for use by the company
- 2+ years of web development experience - NO EXCEPTIONS
- High level of expertise in Javascript, HTML5, and CSS3
- Experience in Wordpress integrations
- Ease with responsive design, website templating, and analytic integrations
- Working knowledge of document data model design and performance tuning
- Familiarity with industry standard tracking (Google Analytics, MixPanel, Crazy Egg)
- A basic understanding of API integrations with Marketing tools (Adwords, Hubspot, etc.)
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment
- Knowledge of Vue, React, or other front end Javascript frameworks
- Familiarity with Laravel and related libraries
- Background with Analytics tools like SnowPlow and SQL
- Use of design tools like Photoshop and Illustrator
- You enjoy responsive development but are not afraid to flex your creative muscle by helping to design pages with the team. Photoshop and Illustrator don't scare you
- You enjoy brainstorming new ideas to increase conversion rates
- You like the challenge of losing in an A/B test
- Learn new slang through the frequent teenager tweets praising Aceable. Aceable is lit, fam
